Carl-Johan from Ants together with Melih who was hired through our international project.
Late this fall Ants and Tobii started a recruitment project together. As many people know there is competence deficiency in the IT-sector and we decided that it was time to try something new to find really skilled developers. The solution was to look outside Sweden, more specifically in Istanbul.
Meet Melih:
Some weeks ago Ants and Tobii took the final step and traveled to Istanbul for the final interviews. Two people were hired and are now preparing their move to Sweden and we want to tell the story about one of them, Melih.
Melih is currently preparing for his big move to Stockholm. He says that he is very excited but there is still a few things to figure out with visas and finding a good place to live.
“I am really excited about moving to Stockholm. Sweden is well known for its social care system, polite society and welcoming attitude for migrants.”
Melih started his career in Software Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and has since then worked remotely for a gaming company in London and most recently he worked for Prezi in Budapest. He is interested in game development and graphics programming, generally anything that has a visual output. At Tobii he will be working with the stream engine team where he will develop software for Tobii Tech. Over all he is positive about his new job, new country and the entire recruitment process.
“I am really pleased about the project. Everybody I have talked to is super nice and especially Sofia from Ants has helped me in many things.”
We at Ants wish Melih the best of luck with his move and congratulates him on being Tobiis new employee.
